Sales tax appeals - If your home has an unsatisfactory property value or the appraiser does not agree with the assessment, you can appeal to the Florida General Real Estate Appraisers Association of Florida. You must file your appeal with the Florida Office of the Attorney General, Department of Financial Services. A copy of the appeal must be sent to each county in which your home is located, unless you filed an appeal with the Florida in-kind property' association of sales tax appeals.
